Vice President Wadsworth reported that the Next General Membership Meeting would be held on August 19, 2015, after the first round of the Club Championship.
Tournament Chairman Report: Chairman Bob Dubay discussed the fact that each week, substantial prize money is at stake and that in the interest of fairness it is imperative that all players play by the same rules. He also thanked the membership for signing up promptly for each week’s play and that the deadline for sign-up is noon, Monday before Wednesday play. In addition, Don Wadsworth reminded all of the importance of verifying and confirming the scores turned in following league play, as there have been a number of recent incidences where days after the scores were submitted, players came back and reported errors that would change their scores, and requested that their results be changed. This practice is not allowed, as scores submitted and signed off on are final, with errors resulting in disqualification. It is the golfer’s responsibility to assure that their score turned in is correct.
Member/Guest tournament Report: It was reported that only 6 teams (12 players) have signed up to date. Sign up fee increases from $150 to $170 after May 25th.
The next monthly tournament will be the Fireball scramble in July
Membership Chairman Report: Chairman Hamby reported that the Club currently has 158 men Members; 9 ladies and 3 Juniors.
